Were growing

These pups have been so cute and fun and are only getting cuter and more fun:) In my personal opinion puppies get big way to fast! Kind of like kids :) So we try and enjoy it all and take it all in! We decided to give them names of old western outlaws. Kev was quiet impressed that i knew so many ;)

"Black Jack"
"Butch Cassidy"
"Jules"
Hoodoo and Jules
"Hoodoo"
"Sundance Kid"
"Frisco"
"Belle Star"
"Josie"
"Jesse"

Liz had her puppies!

Liz finally had her puppies! We were all so super excited! My kids even ran right by the Easter bunnies surprises right out with Kev and I to find Liz in active labor. she had 9 puppies by 10 am. 5 males and 4 females.
These pictures are the puppies at almost 2 weeks.

4 black tri's 1 male and 3 females

2 red merle males

2 blue merles. 1 male and 1 female

1 red trim male

The whole crew.

Bitter sweet...

Well all the goat kids are gone. I am so happy to see them go to new homes but sad the 8 week adventure is over. My 5 kiddos may say different though. You finally get to that point where being done is a good thing and bottles become your enemy :) I can only hope that the people who bought my goat kids will have as much fun and enjoy them like we do.

They are now 8 weeks old...

I have been very happy with this years kidding. Two Does have already left us and i am excited they wont be to far to see what they will produce in the future with there kids to come.
(Bottom 2 does are skittles. Great size.)

This here is my only buck this year. I am VERY happy with his size and pendulous ears. His markings are light yet striking.

These last 2 does are very beautiful in markings and i am sure will turn out to be great does.

All Kids were born healthy and are all doing well. We bottle feed our kids to prevent CAE. All milk is pasturized then fed to the kids. They are now 2 weeks old and have been de-horned as of 3/12.

I have a CAE/CL tested (Caprine Arthritis Encephelitis, Caseous Lymphadenitis) herd. I decided to test my goats to have as clean & disease free herd that i could possibly have. Both these diseases are very severe if your goat ever come in contact to get them.
